Who we are...
Connect’s aim is to help those who are school leavers through to 25 connect and transition into HBC’s church community. Our desire is to see people who have gone through the youth ministry, or are new to the church in this age group, connect with peers and become a part of a LIFE group community. We trust that through this, those who don’t know what life is like with Jesus would come to do so, and those who do know him would experience life with him more and more.
Connection points: the following are regularly held connection points for those in this age groups. We welcome you to come along or contact us with any questions you may have.
LIFE groups:
These are smaller communities which meet thought-out the week in different locations with the intention of doing LIFE together. In big gatherings it’s hard to get to know others well, in LIFE groups it’s not. These groups provide space to hang out, look into and ask questions of God and life, support one another and seek to impact the world around us for the better. Contact the HBC Office for further details on how to join.
Friday Night Community:
Is a space where you can come and experience and contribute to a Jesus led community of many ages. We start from 6:15, where dinner is served, then at 7 have a service catering for all ages and following the service there is always something on for people to do after.
Social events:
Are held monthly to allow new people to meet others and have fun. It can be an excellent way to invite a friend along so they can meet some of the characters who are a part of Connect.
Aside from these events, casual social events regularly occur so visit this site regularly to get updates.

Helensvale Campus is then able to offer assistance by way of an "Emergency Food Parcel" to those in our community who find themselves unable to provide a meal on the table. Often some "creativity" is required by the recipients but the food is always gratefully received...... Continue Reading »
