Helensvale Baptist Church

At HBC we believe God the Holy Spirit has inspired the whole Bible, Old Testament and New Testament, to encourage and equip us for doing good in this world for the interests of others and to the glory of God. We believe the Bible can teach us, rebuke us, correct us and train us. It also brings us comfort and peace. We believe it does this best as those who teach it point us to the Lord Jesus and His gospel of grace as we follow Him.

So, like any good diet, each year we seek to have a variety in how we come to God and His Word. The preaching series’ we follow each year will fall into one of four general categories: an Old Testament book, a New Testament book, some form of Christian Doctrine, belief or practise, or, a topical or interest series that reflects priorities and issues in the culture around us. We seek to have the Bible as the foundation in all these types of messages, as we point to the Lord Jesus and ask Him to challenge us we hear what He has to say.
